How To Pack Your Hat
How to Pack Your Hat
Wide-Brim Hats:
Gently fold the sides of the brim upward toward the crown, being careful not to crease the center. Place the hat in a tote or suitcase, avoiding heavy pressure that could make reshaping difficult.
Bucket Hats:
Collapse or fold the hat along its natural lines and place it in a tote or suitcase. Avoid pressing it under heavier items to help it return to its original shape.
Tips for Best Results:
- Pack in a beach tote when possible; suitcases may place pressure on the hat.
- Unpack promptly and lay the hat flat to allow it to naturally reshape.
- Avoid leaving the hat folded for more than one day. Extended folding may affect how smoothly it reshapes.
- Keep the hat dry; moisture can affect the straw and its ability to reshape properly.
